Everyday Alchemists
Dear Listener, I have always been fascinated by Alchemy - deepened and expanded by two particular gifts I received many years ago. The first was Paolo Coehlo’s book, ”The Alchemist” and later on a set of Alchemy Oracle stones- a self-development tool that mirrored and linked self-awareness to the processes and stages involved in creating Alchemy In my own life I recognise the Alchemy created by those around me who managed to turn major challenges into gifts, as a Coach I have had the privilege of holding space for, witnessing and celebrating Alchemy , in the lives of my clients and more recently in our the current post-Covid world, I have begun to recognise new levels of heroism and courage and find myself increasingly drawn towards those Alchemists that live in our midst, who might well go unnoticed by their family and friends. They create quiet revolutions in their own lives and workplaces, they support their families and communities with generosity and courage. They transform the world around them with no fanfare or standing ovations. They turn the lead of life’s daily challenges into the gold of new meaning and purpose. I want to seek them out, celebrate them and learn from them thereby cascading inspiration and even more of this quality of Alchemy into this world. Monica
